Clear your way through each level and reach the exit. There are ten levels, six weapons, and seven kinds of enemy.
You start with only a knife, so pick up the guns the demons left lying in the dark.
Collect ammo and health as you go — both run out faster than you expect.

Press Tab whenever a corridor stops making sense; the map shows the layout and where you have already been.
Jump is a short hop over pits and low gaps, not a way to climb.
The whole game is playable with the keyboard alone, and no mouse is needed.

Tip: Don't fight with the knife if you can help it. Grab the first gun you see, then use doorways and corners so you only face one enemy at a time!
Anarch is a first-person corridor shooter that fits in a pocket the size of a protest sign. Drummyfish built it as entertainment and as a manifesto: suckless code, extreme portability, anti-copyright, and a stubborn refusal to need a store, an engine, or a mouse. The file is tiny. The rooms are not.

You start with a knife and the sound of a generated 8-bit argument. Pick up the guns the demons left in the dark. There are ten maps, six weapons, seven kinds of thing that want you quieter. The picture is 256 colors and honest about what it is not: no floor paint, no ceiling art, no vertex cathedral. It is 2D raycasting and 32×32 sprites, Doom’s grammar spoken with less furniture.

The map key is not a courtesy. Tab opens the layout when the corridor has already lied to you twice. Jump is a hop over a pit, not a parkour career. Ammo and health sit where a mean designer would hide a joke. Bytebeat music keeps talking whether you asked it to or not.

People come for the manifesto and stay because a shotgun in a 32KB maze still feels like a decision. Clear a room, miss a pickup, hear the next grunt around a corner that the raycaster barely invented. The opinion is loud. The demons are louder. Ten levels is the whole sermon.
