B: Shoot enemies
A: Use a bomb to clear the screen

Watch out for enemy bullets and moving formations.

At the end of each stage, defeat the boss to move on.

Tip: Save your bombs for moments when enemy bullets become too dangerous!
Butano Fighter is the Game Boy Advance shmup Gustavo Valiente shipped with his C++ engine of the same name: stay alive, shoot what moves, spend a bomb when the screen becomes a dare. In the browser it runs as a GBA ROM, same chunky sprites, same Saturday-afternoon bravery.

Waves come first and they do not introduce themselves. Formations cross, dive, and leave pickups if you were rude enough to empty them. The bomb is the polite edit. A clears a mistake you can still see. B is the sentence you keep writing. The arrow keys are the whole conversation with the bullet garden.

Bosses wait at the end of a stage like a door that learned your habits. Patterns get larger. Safe pixels get lonelier. A life spent learning the loop is cheaper than a bomb spent on panic. Credits on the cart belong to the engine demo that became a full little war.

There is no cargo manifesto and no mercenary contract. The plot is the next wave. Clear it. The finger already knows when to hold, when to weave, and when the screen has earned a bomb.
