🎱 Neverball

The floor is the controller. One tilt too far and you are gone.
Arrow keys - tilt the floor

A 3D rolling-ball game: tilt the floor to steer the ball.

Collect enough coins as you cross maze-like obstacle courses within the time limit and reach the goal.
Fall off the track or let the timer hit zero, and that attempt ends in failure.

Levels run from 1 to 20. As the level rises, the terrain and obstacles change and the difficulty rises with them.
Collect enough coins on each level to open the goal,
then reach it to continue to the next level.
Neverball hands you a marble and then takes your feet away. You do not steer a character. You tilt the entire floor — a high ridge of maze track hanging over cloud and empty air — and the ball obeys gravity like a confession. A small angle is speed. A proud angle is a highlight reel of falling.

Coins are the lock on the exit. Yellow ones are lunch money. Red are five. Blue are ten. Gather the quota and the goal finally admits you exist. A hundred coins in the bank buy an extra ball, which is the game’s way of saying your greed was temporarily useful. Shortcuts save seconds and skip the easy pile. The cliff coins pay better and collect your remaining time as rent.

Courses change manners. Some want a straight run and a late brake. Some are needle eyes that punish any leftover spin. The clock is a third rail. Fall off or let it die and that ball is spent. Robert Kooima’s old geometry still feels new because the hands learn it slower than the eyes.

The pleasure is a quiet last meter: coins done, goal open, floor almost level, and the ball still carrying a lie you told three turns ago. Correct it. Do not add more tilt. The air under the track is very patient.
